Honoring National Black Business Month

It has been exciting to see our vision for the Historic Coliseum Building (HCB) as a place that supports BIPOC owned organizations coming to fruition!

We welcomed our first tenant Divas for Social Justice, a NYC based non-profit that integrates STEAM with community impact projects. They hosted a series of engagement and design meetings with community and the young scholars of CAMP S.E.E., our architecture camp for girls of color.

We also celebrated Black Business Week with the City of Minneapolis. Our development team shared lessons learned with local entrepreneurs. These discussions are critical to closing the racial wealth gaps and building a more inclusive economy. Having the physical as well intellectual space for conversation allows us to lift others as we climb.

It is in these realms that we know that the HCB will be a tool of service for community.
