“A Porch with Purpose”
The owners of this Saint Paul residence were interested in updating their existing porch to enhance curb appeal while also providing more functionality for impromptu gatherings with neighbors and flexible space for outdoor entertainment. Without expanding the existing footprint, we were able to create additional seating elements by incorporating them into new wider railings. We also used primarily local materials and products.

Environment — Incorporated the existing roof and reused the existing columns into the new design.
Economic Impact — Used the existing concrete stairs and lowered the porch deck to make each riser height equal.
