We are excited to be presenting Firm Capacity Building Through Authentic, Collaborative Partnerships

on October 20th from 10:15-11:45 am, at #A20MN! Sign up today! https://www.aia-mn.org/registration/

Description:

Partnerships among firms – particularly among Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)/BIPOC-owned firms and white-owned firms – are often not as successful as either party wants them to be. This is especially true when firms are connected only in the context of response to an RFP and when the first project together is viewed as a “test.” This session highlights bright spots in working relationships among firms in the AEC industry. Panelists will share how their partnerships have developed and insights gained from challenges faced in their working relationships. They will explore the importance of recognizing the strength of each other’s existing capacities, commitment to mutual capacity building, and equitable engagement in the work of the project.
