“Thai It”

Since 1983, Sawatdee has led the Thai food movement in Minnesota. This local legend has served the Twin Cities with exquisite food and service from its beginning. With five locations throughout the Twin Cities, the original restaurant in the Minneapolis warehouse district was remodeled to reflect traditional Thai architecture.  Owner Supenn Harrison states, “it doesn’t matter who you are or when you come in to eat; you are treated with love, respect and peace.” With this philosophy in mind, we designed these areas to reflect beauty in the detailing while making areas accommodating for all.

Equity — Using Thai motifs found in cultural artifacts, we created a new bar space and redesigned toilet rooms for accessibility.
