Minneapolis Climate Equity Plan

In Collaboration with Precipitate Architecture

The City of Minneapolis adopted a new Climate Action and Equity Plan in July 2023 that puts people first in our race to save the planet. The new plan is a guide for policy and program design supporting science-based greenhouse gas reduction goals and economic and community benefits associated with clean energy investments.  The UDP team worked alongside the City of Minneapolis Sustainability Office to engage with other City of Minneapolis departments, residents and businesses. We also did outreach with Community Organizations to center voices from Black, Indigenous, communities of color, immigrants, older and younger adults, people with disabilities, and under-resourced residents.
