Greek Housing Study
With Charles Levin Architects
“We Are Family”
With a flourishing Greek family community of 33 fraternities and 15 sororities, the University of MN commissioned a study to evaluate the existing housing stock for ten of these organizations. Greek life participation hovers at 10% of recent undergraduates and members on average have higher GPA’s and four-year completion rates. The study offered a deeper understanding of Greek housing offerings provided to this student population as well as the role and commitment of staff that cares for these buildings. These insights underscored the importance of having great facilities and support systems within these Greek organizations as keys to building strong alumni relations.
