 Happy Earth Day from Urban Design Perspectives! At UDP, we use the framework or architecture, project management and community engagement to create equitable and sustainable spaces that fuel the mind, body, soul and spirit. This year we would like to celebrate Earth Day by sharing a few fun and interesting ways you can learn more about our Earth and the Climate Crisis, as well as enact change in your local community.

 

Here are 5 ways to celebrate Earth Day this year:

1.       Minneapolis Park and Recreation – Park Cleanup

 As we bring in this year’s Earth Day, UDP will be participating in a park cleanup. This is a great   way to make an impact on you local park while also getting some sunshine! You can learn more about how to get involved in a park clean up near you here.

2.       Greta Thunberg – Congress Hearing

Tune in to the news as Teenage Swedish Climate Activist, Greta Thunberg testifies before Congress for the hearing entitled "The Role of Fossil Fuel Subsidies in Preventing Action on the Climate Crisis.”

3.       An Interesting and Educational Read
